AniPortraitGAN is a SIGGRAPH Asia 2023 research project presenting an animatable 3D-aware GAN that generates portrait images with controllable facial expression, head pose, and shoulder movements. It trains on unstructured 2D image collections without 3D or video data, using generative radiance manifold representation with learnable facial and head-shoulder deformations, dual-camera rendering, adversarial learning, and a pose deformation processing network for regions such as long hair.
